LIGHT UP THE NURSERY

| A soft, night light may be useful which gives just the right intensity of light at night. | |
| If you already have an overhead light with a dimmer, it may serve the purpose of a night light. | |
| Another alternative is to have a cot light which will have a light glow, just enough to check that your baby's alright. | |
| If you're using a cot light at night, you'll need a slightly stronger light for changing nappies at night. | |
| If you're using lamps, be very careful not to have ones with long cords trailing all over the room. You could trip over these very easily. | |
| Remember to keep the nappy changing ritual low key at night. It should not be treated as play time. This will help your baby understand the difference between day and night activity. |
